If you like a true bitter taste, then Amstel 1870 is the beer for you.
It is an all-malt beer, which means that only barley malts have been used.
Fine aromatic hop types are used to obtain the right degree of bitterness.
The specific blend of barley malts gives the beer a slightly darker color than regular Amstel Beer.
This typical pilsener takes its name from the year in which the Amstel brewery was established.
