    • '99 Schilling Scotch Ale is a strong, malty, amber beer and was brewed in the Scottish tradition, minus the kilts. The "'99 Shilling" terminology refers to an old Scottish system of using monitary increments to designate how strong beer is. Although most Scotch ales are between 60 and 80, '99 Schilling Scotch Ale is a strong 99 in tribute to the new millenium.
