    • Montejo is a regional brand, mainly found in the Southeast of Mexico. This brand was introduced to the market in 1960, with the purpose of celebrating the 60th. anniversary of Cervecería Yucateca. It is a pilsener type beer and is sold in two different packages. The name "Montejo" was given to the brand as a memory of Francisco de Montejo, who was the founder of the city of Merida, Yucatán.
