Three Hearts Julöl Extra Strong (Three Hearts Christmas Extra Strong) is brewed as genuine Double Bock with an original gravity of 18,2%. It is something of a happening that a Swedish brewery makes a real Double Bock in a true German fashion. The taste is full and strong with pleasant bitterness just like a real German "Double Bock". Despite the high alcohol level it is very difficult to feel how strong it is. This is due to the very balanced taste. The beer is composed of three different kinds of malt and hops.
