    • Originally established in 1820, Alexander Keith's Nova Scotia brewery reopened on June 17, 2000. Come in and you'll step back in time during your guided tour of the restored brewery. From the moment the Warden greets you, until the inn keepers of the Stag's Head tavern say farewell, you'll be entertained and educated by the costumed guides.
    You'll see, hear, and smell great beer being brewed just the way Alexander Keith did. And before the tour is over, you'll get to sample his fine ale. There's even a store where you can get terrific Keith's merchandise and cold beer to take home. Alexander Keith's is in the Brewery Market at 1496 Lower Water Street in Historic Halifax.
