    • The first Damm brewery was founded in 1876 by Augustus Kuentzmann. In 1910 the Damm Public Limited Company was founded, with the three founding companies coming to agreement and signing: "Hijos de Joseph Damm", "Joan Musolas Sociedad Encomandita" and "Enric Cammany y Compañía". The company was established in the La Bohemia brewery in what is now Rosselló Street, next to the Sagrada Familia.
    During the civil war Damm became a collectivised industry controlled by the factory works committee. When the war ended they began to operate again as a private company.
