Kassik's Kenai Brew Stop is housed in a small warehouse, nestled in a clearing in the woods, adjacent to the Kassik's home in Nikiski. Frank's passion for brewing began when his wife Debara, bought him a home brew kit for Christmas. Frank was hooked and soon became a proficient home brewer. They built a 36 x 50 shop in hopes to someday have a brewery. In May of 2005 Kassik's purchased a used seven barrel system, and then remodeled their building to accommodate the equipment with the help of family and friends. The brewery opened Memorial Weekend 2006 with their first brew Beaver Tail Blonde, their Moose Point Porter was on tap a few weeks later.

Homer Brewing Company began by the inspiration of the renaissance of beer throughout the United States and the will to carve out a livelihood in Homer. Brought together through the original homebrew cooperative, the Q & Q Guild, Steve McCasland, Lasse Holmes and Karen Berger combined their talents and love of beer to create Homer Brewing Company. Opened September 21, 1996 as Homer's first commercial brewery, originally housed in a space of 23'x29', brewing with a recycled, re-fabricated 3-beer-barrell system, considered "micro" in the industry, Homer Brewing Company grew to produce over 1000 bbls. a year with this equipment. In February of 2001, adversity struck when the lease on the building was not renewed and the brewery faced going out of business. Thanks to the cooperation and encouragement of our local bank and astounding local support, they persevered and purchased the permanent home for the brewery, re-opening in August of 2001 at it's current location on Lake Shore Drive. In 2005 they installed a refurbished 7-barrel brewing system that has increased efficiency in the brewhouse.

Uinta Brewing Company embarked upon its mission of brewing world class, full-flavored, craft-brewed beer in the winter of 1993. From a small, renovated mechanic's garage, Uinta began distributing a tasty variety of beer ranging from 4.0% to over 10% ABV to local bars, restaurants, and liquor stores. Demand escalated, resulting in the installation of a bottling line in 1996. Then, in 2001, having outgrown its original building, Uinta built and relocated to a 26,000-square-foot facility specifically designed for brewing beer. Uinta Brewing Company is named after an east-west mountain range located in northeastern Utah. Many of Uinta's beer names are inspired by Utah's diverse landscapes or have historical significance. Cutthroat Pale Ale, Uinta's flagship beer, is named after Utah's state fish. Subsequent beer names followed suit, such as King's Peak Porter, named after Utah's highest peak, and Golden Spike Hefeweizen, named after the spike used to commemorate the completion of the transcontinental railroad in Utah. In 2003, Uinta expanded its offerings through a brand extension called the Four+ Series, which includes certified organic beers. The "Four" refers to the primary ingredients used in brewing beer: water, hops, barley, and yeast. The "Plus" refers to the creative dimension the brewer brings to the art of brewing beer, as well as expertise and palate. Uinta has broadened its market and can be found in states from coast-to-coast, and has even ventured to other countries around the world. Uinta beers have received awards and medals from regional, national, and international competitions, including the North American Beer Awards, World Beer Cup, and Great American Beer Festival. Uinta is committed to brewing world-class beer using the best practices and ingredients. Certified organic products are among the array of beers offered. Uinta Brewing Company is also proud to be an OU Kosher certified company producing kosher certified products. Since 2001 Uinta Brewing has used 100% wind-powered energy, becoming the first Utah business to reach this mark.

Established in 1957 in Prince George, BC on a fresh water spring, the Pacific Western Brewing Co. (PWB) is now British Columbia's largest independent Canadian-owned brewery. In its first 35 years the brewery changed hands a number of times. Originally named Caribou Brewing, it has been known for a rich and colorful past at the hands of such entrepreneurs as Austrian Eugene Zarek and the illustrious "Uncle" Ben Ginter. In the late 1980's entrepreneur Kazuko Komatsu began producing a special beer at the brewery for export to Japan. The beer was so well received in the Japanese market that she went on to assume control of the brewery in 1991. The Japanese market is extremely quality conscious, so the first job of the new management was to focus the brewing team producing a range of beers that met and exceeded the Japanese standard for quality. Through a combination of modernization of the brewery and establishment of strict brewing and packaging standards, the brewery's success was recognized through the achievement of quality standard ISO-9002. PWB was the first North American brewery to achieve this standard. The brewery has focused on innovation and building brands that deliver on the promise of quality. The Brewery's Organic Beers are just such an example, The Organic Lager first brewed in 1997 is Canada's first organic beer.

In 1994, Kym and Pete Buttschardt opened the first Roosters Brewing Company on Historic 25th Street in Downtown Ogden. The 119-year-old building (constructed in 1890) originally housed everything from Chinese laundries to House of Ill Repute in the early 1900's. The restored building, with a unique ambiance and outdoor patio made the 25th Street location a perfect place for meeting and mingling with friends. Roosters quickly became THE PLACE TO GO and a community "gathering spot" for Ogden's diverse and eclectic population. It's not unusual to see mud-splattered mountain bikers enjoying burgers and brews at one table while more formally dressed couples enjoy herb-crusted rack of lamb and fine wine at another. In late summer 2005, Pete, Roosters Brewing Company opened up in a new location in Layton. From geographical, philosophical and culinary perspectives, the new location is just off what locals call "Restaurant Row." Roosters is Davis County's first and only micro brewery and boasts what is arguably the city's most unique menu.
